What You Need to Know for MeasureCamp Sydney
How Will The Day Work?
MeasureCamp uses an unconference format and one important aspect of that is there is no prearranged schedule.
Sessions are in 30 min time slots with rooms of varying sizes available. At the start of the day, after the introduction, the Session Board is declared open. Anyone can then add a Session to the Session Board on any topic.
Sessions can be presentations, discussions, workshops or even game shows. They can be highly technical in nature or very business focused. You may decide to run a session for people just starting out in Digital Analytics or for those with years of experience. All topics are welcome.
So get your thinking caps on and start thinking about what sessions you’d like to run!
Tickets & Waiting List
MeasureCamp is an inclusive event with free tickets available to anyone who wants to attend. Because of this, our tickets flew out the door!
Don’t need your ticket anymore? Please send us an email at sydney@measurecamp.org and let us know so we can give your ticket to one of the many people in our waiting list.
Still need a ticket? Join our waiting list to get a ticket as soon as they are available. Head over to our Eventbrite page and submit your details so we can contact you once we have a ticket for you.
Selling at MeasureCamp
Selling and sales talk is frowned upon at MeasureCamp. Attendees may want to know more about how products and services can help them in their day to day work, but it is not intended as an opportunity for sales pitches.
You are free to run a session like this if you wish, however it is up to the attendees whether they want to sit through your session… which brings us to the rule of two feet.
The Rule of Two Feet
MeasureCamp is about the transfer of knowledge. If you find yourself in the wrong session as it is too beginner or too advanced or just not the topic you thought it would be, move to another session.
It is up to you to choose just how much value you get out of a MeasureCamp.
Get Involved
MeasureCamp is intended as a day full of ideas sharing, discussions, and learning. So don’t be shy and participate! Prepare a talk, share your ideas and experiences, meet someone new.
What you get out of the day will depend on how much you get involved. But most of all, have fun!
